Peter Bauernfeind Dies in Walla Walla at 74
Peter Bauernfeind died in a Walla Walla hospital February 26 at age 74. Funeral services were held March 1 at the Arlington Methodist church with Rev. W W Head officiating and burial at Arlington cemetery. He lived many years near Cecil and was uncle to Martin Bauernfeind of Morgan. Many Willow Creek residents traveled to Rowen for the funeral.

August Liebl Dies After Long Illness At 70
August Liebl aged 70 died February 20 in a Portland hospital. The body was sent to Adel Wisconsin for funeral services and interment. He was a large landowner in Morrow County and held property near Yakima Washington. Survived by four brothers Theodore Louis Bernard John and one sister Mrs Margaret Seifert of Wisconsin. Mrs Bert Mason and her mother Mrs Adelia Godfrey drove to Portland. Godfrey returns home in winter locale. E G Sperry bought a new Ford truck.
