International Anti Crime Conference to be Held in Boise
The eighth International Anti Crime Conference will take place in Boise Idaho August 16 18. E Netson district attorney Heppner Oregon state vice president of the Northwest Association of Sheriffs and Police urges sheriffs district attorneys and other law enforcement officials to attend. Government officials including governors sheriffs circuit judges mayors and police officers are eligible for membership. The Northwest Association promotes cooperation among seven states three Canadian provinces and Alaska. Notable jurists criminologists and experts will appear on the Boise program.

In 1928 a group of 14 dissatisfied farm women formed the Idaho Oregon Turkey Growers Association. By the second year membership rose to 400, serving southern and central Idaho and eastern Oregon. Growers pay $1 annual dues, buyers pay a half cent per pound, turkeys are delivered carside, weighed and graded, and growers receive immediate full payment.
