A sparse turnout at a special election left most measures uncertain with only 62 votes cast of 27 registered electors. The county and precinct tallies show yes and no splits on items such as Negro suffrage, tax measures, and enforcement bills, with several amendments failing to gain majority.
The Morrow county reunion will be held at Lauvelhurnt Park on July 4. A picnic dinner is announced for 2 o clock. The notice lists a wagon with grain box and a Ford car for sale as part of a cash sale.
Mrs H and Cool and son Bill have been on the sick list this past week. Birk left for Salem on Tuesday. Mr and Mrs Berl Morgan were in lone on Monday. Mr and Mrs H O Ely visited in lone on Thursday.
