Frank Engelman spent days in Portland on business. Mrs. C. L. ONeill plans to move to Los Angeles with husband there. E. J. Bristow and family visited Walla Walla, returning Sunday. Christmas sales were strong. J. F. Haynie, Forest Grove, Ore., visited with daughter and family. Lone Christian church holds annual three-church meeting with sermons by Sister Livingston Bro Livingston and Rev Brown. Mrs. J. N. Peiffer and Ray Jody return to Starbuck Wash after a week here.

Pleasant Watch Meeting Sets Tone for New Year

A union watch meeting at a Christian church on New Year’s Eve drew a large crowd. The program began with songs by the congregation and talks on what the Sunday Schools of Lone Need. Speakers included Louis Balviger, Mr Canon, Zelma Engelman, and Mayor Mason among others.
