Groundhog day weather hints at six more weeks of winter, as conditions shift from springlike to flood concerns. Willow Creek rose to high water around 1 oclock Saturday, with the area reaching flood stage by 10 oclock. Jone Falls to Boardman in Close Friday Game

Jone lost a hard fought game to Boardman last Friday night by a 21 to 6 score. Boardman showed team work and sharp shooting led by Wicklander who had seven field goals. Eubanks led Love with two fields. Next Thursday Jone hosts Boardman on their floor. Lexington girls and second team boys play the same night. Local turnout urged to back the teams as the second teams provided thrills.
