Surprise Party For Mrs Charley Anderson

A surprise social event was held Tuesday afternoon April 8 at Mrs Charley Andersons Eight Mile ranch home. Guests included Olive Anderson, Mrs Charles McElligot, Mrs Emil Swanson, Mrs Cho Drake, Mrs Ernest Lundell, Mrs Algott Lundell, and Mrs Chas Wagner of Portland. A bridge game and refreshment hour completed the gathering with a potted plant given to Mrs Anderson as a memento.

Easter Services Observed Across City Churches

City churches held Easter services with children receiving favors after the Easter lesson. The Sun day school program featured readings by Emsworth Bullard, recitations by Ev en Sperry and Eleanor Bul, and a song by Wallace Bullard, with continued coverage noted for the next page.

Henry C. Wehrdt his wife and son of Trenton New Jersey visit at Saddle Butte Ranch the home of Mr and Mrs Ernest Hiliker. They met the Hilikers six years ago while the Hilikers vacationed in Florida. The Wehrdts traveled by car through the South via New Orleans to California then north to Oregon arriving Wednesday.
