Sydney Monday reports the budget to be delivered by Mr Stevens will show a deficit of £1,787,000 for 1635 30. A reduction of more than £200,000 from Loan Council limits is planned. A wage tax cut for low incomes, lower railway fares and freights, and a Progressive works policy with low expenditure of £67,500,000 are expected.

Edward Neville aged 28 died Saturday night when the utility truck he drove struck a horse, skidded and overturned. He was pinned beneath the vehicle and suffered a fatal neck fracture as the truck’s weight rested on him.
