Clifford Bay’s help begins with a log rolling onto Gatlin’s leg, another mishap follows a Ridge run‑away injuring him against a post. Ellen Bay Gatlin now runs the household and acts as nurse while he recovers.
The parcel post social at the hall last Friday drew a well filled crowd and lively entertainment. Refreshments pleased attendees and proceeds satisfied promoters. A total of 16.00 was handed to Rev. Brown who gave a cheerful response.
