Sunday School Expands with Chairs and Secretary’s Table

The Sunday school orders two dozen chairs and a secretary’s table while urging gratitude and attendance at services. County Agent Reeves visited last Thursday promoting more and better dairy cows and the grade stock at fair prices, with Reeves’ cow delivering about four car loads. The Globe editor champions a north divide road into Hulett and vows to push for progress despite terrain, urging booster spirit. W L Lavalle and A G Robinson left for the railroad to haul two four horse freight loads home. Rancher L F Atkinson moved to Bear Lodge country making Hulett his trading point. Local arrivals include Mrs LuDillon, George D Simmons, and Dona A Simmons to visit the Simmons family.

Mrs. Bertha Miller had her house newly painted by Watt Baker. Miss Gertrude Watson returns from Deadwood Friday. Vint Bloxom visits from the Little Missouri ranch and reports ample feed. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Smith of Aladdin pass through en route to New Haven to visit relatives. W. S. Smith pursues a cranberry business hunting horses from the McGinn drive and detaining them at Moorcroft. A new threshing machine arrives this week. Mr. Ingraham becomes the new proprietor and plans to clear stacks on the Durfee divide. Kerer advertises rubber goods and low over shoes for winter. Terhune country travelers along Schenck hill praise the road improvement and envision further north work. The road can be repaired at all bad spots. The tenth wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Fischer is celebrated November 3 at their ranch near Tower with a large, festive supper and later dancing at Ed. Fischer's venue.
