From Sheridan Post reporting no early return for the 148th Field Artillery. Largely Wyoming national guardsmen, trained to high readiness, the unit remains in the Army of Occupation per a Washington letter to Governor Carey. Local hopes for bringing Wyoming men home are limited as army officials retain the regiment.
