Road closure announced for June 20th by Allen Scott.

Several of the young people attended Sunday School at Alva. John Dirk and wife spent Saturday at C. Bears. Margerie Davis returned home after working at Walter Bushes. W Chapman and wife drove to Belle Fourche Sunday. W E Micheel and wife visited John Mahoney's. A few young folks attended a surprise party for Buford McAmincri. Steve Mahoney and wife and Mrs Orah Mahoney of Belle Fourche were in Hylett on business. Ollie Queen left for Casper on the Moorcroft. Read what Mickie says this week.

Odd Fellows District Meeting in Gillette Celebrates Fellowship

L O F members J L Chenoweth C C Storm N A Gariman and L Schiller attended the district meeting of S O F in Gillette. They were welcomed by local and visiting Brothers and Grand Master A O Heyers. A banquet followed a 2nd degree ceremony with toasts and talks.

Hulett Beats Goldie in Close 14 to 15 Game

Local report notes Hulett defeated Goldie in a rough contest 14 to 15. Players showed effort early, but Goldie surged in the seventh. Bench chatter and support for teammates drew attention as a focus for future games.

The A P Anderson family spent Sunday at Eagles on Lower Beaver. Miss Marie Atkinson came up from Beaver Creek Friday and attended the Rebekah meeting. Memorial services are set for Moore Hill Cemetery at 2 30 P M May 30. Sydney Jacobs made his annual trip to Hulet Monday. W A Weaver and wife of Sheridan are visiting the John Driskill ranch. Albert Kiehl and J G Nichols left Tuesday for California overland. WANTED employment for man and wife on good ranch. Inquire at the Globe office. Lost bundle of clothing between Anderson Moore and Hulet. Stub Chenoweth came from the ranch Friday. Kirk Stoddard returned with bridge plank and a scrapper for road work in Goldie. Allen Howey came in on Moorcroft stage Friday. Virgil Moore and wife attended to business in town Friday. John Thorn repaired the south approach to the Hulett across Belle Fourche River. C W Roberts and wife had business in Hulett Friday. Aladdin defeated Belle Fourche 2 to 0 in a pitchers battle. Moorcroft defeated Sundance 7 to 3. Thurman Graves and wife of Lower Beaver trading with merchants Monday. Mel and Jess Storm transacted business in Hulett Monday. Del Storm and family visited Charlie Roberts on Goldie divide Sunday. Rev Whipple and wife motor to Gillette Monday for a short visit to secure local stations. Earl Wood and Allen Scott took a load of wheat to Aladdin Monday. Guy Eyes came in to see Huelt Tuesday. Jack Sandusky Henry Brimmer and Irvin Valentine trip to Beaver Creek on a tieh jug trip.
