District votes down nine month term for all schools

When to Answer a Letter in a Written Conversation
A letter should be answered the day it is received while noting the mood and cadence of the writing. Three to four weeks later dulls the cordial tone, and letters of minor importance may be delayed at the writer's discretion. Home news from absent children and urgent family notes should be answered promptly. Bread and butter letters after a visit should go within days of return.
