Reports no dead stock after storms, Ellsbury justice notes small fees, and Robi Gunn slowly recovers. Marchant's brother returns east to continue search, and July 4 plans begin. Fat Making Foods and Diet Tips by Dr Allen
Dr Allen states fat production is needed for certain patients and recommends cod liver oil as a fat source. Butter bacon lard and pork have been common fats but olive and peanut oils rise in use while cottonseed oil substitutes lard. Oils should be taken separately from protein, about two tablespoons daily with lemon juice to improve flavor. Nuts offer high fat content and a nut and fruit diet may yield around ten percent fat by weight.
