Bear Lodge community reports sickness and visits. Massie remains ill while Carl Burnett made a Beaver Creek business call last week. Sims family drove to Mrs. Cook's on Sunday. March weather prompts farming thoughts. Nelsons visit sister Tracy on Pine Creek. Cremeens broke wagon axle with a log load. Bates and A dair called on business in Belle Fourche, delivered wheat. Jim Adair visits sister W. Smith on Bear Lodge and Oak Creek. Cremeens called in Belle Fourche for stepfather Nelson's death. Nelsons sought medical treatment there recently. Sympathy extended to bereaved. Hulett School closed for remainder of term due to scarlet fever outbreak.

Reverend Brown Seeks Return to Hulett Wyoming

In a March 7 1919 letter Rev J M Brown expresses gratitude to A W Storm Hulett Wyo and the Hulett community. He weighs a possible return to Hulett over Torrington pledging to come back if released and noting improved health after a period of hardship and weight loss. He describes a potential church offer and asks residents to stay hopeful and spread his message.

Freighting, ranch moves, and Fordson tractor demo arrive

Ellendale Perry Geiger and Chet Wood were freighting for Hulett Mercantile this week. Roy Strand underwent appendicitis surgery last Friday. Frank Proctor feeds cattle on Geo Congerton's ranch and Jerry Stockton feeds cattle on the Benson ranch for Cap Storm. Mr and Mrs George Congerton sold their ranch to W J Wood and plan to move to Duck Creek. Ira Stockton and wife work for Jerry Bush. R L Bronson of Powers Auto Co. brought two Fordson tractors to demonstrate to farmers, ground frozen, second trip planned. They traveled eevee in nine and a half hours. Watch for dates and Henry to demonstrate.

Local Individuals Arrive for Medical Care and Business Ventures

Dallas Roberts was brought to town for medical treatment early this week suffering from head inflammation. Roy Strand recovering well after an appendectomy. J. H. Chittim renovations to open an ice cream and soft drink parlor with ladies and children friendly tables and candy sales planned. Joe Fahl and family arrived to conduct business. Mrs. Fahl visits sister Mrs. Albert Lawrence.

Appointed Commissioner Announces Land Filing at Hulett

Paul W. Yeoman states he has been appointed United States Commissioner at Hulett and after April 15th filings or proof on government land may be submitted there. Proof procedures may begin at once at Hulett.
