Obituary of J. B. Baxter of Bear Lodge Country
J B Baxter aged about 53 died Monday in Hot Springs S D from a complication of diseases. He lived in the Black Hills and Ben Ledge mountains since 1881. Survived by wife Dlief Neil Cady two daughters Mrs DE Carter and Mrs Lillian Daxter two brothers J H and FF M Daxter two sisters Mrs FE Harris and Mrs BE Wilson. Burial at Belle Fourche with services in Congregational church Rev Reynolds. Initial burial in Blue Slope Cemetery. Funeral shipped body to Belle Fourche Wednesday. He was born in Arkansas and married in Belle Fourche. Local ad notes legal notices and business opportunity listings.
