Mr J J Nelson and J H Bates took a load of wheat to Belle Fourche this week. Miss Mary McCluer was home in Buffalo Basin to get acquainted with her new sister. She is teaching the Tower school.

Big Bend Benlers Reach For Crop News In Cold Season
W E Massie and son report a large crop despite unusually slow growth across the Bend due to cold weather. Clay Massie sought a work horse, while Howard Caffery shows modest improvement after his mother’s update. James and Lonie McDonald stayed at the Baxter home as they plan to ranch, and Mrs J B Baxter returns from Belle Fourche with family. The Baxters now own a Ford.
