E W Whitcomb of Moorcroft was killed by lightning during a thunder shower last Tuesday after leaving to check cattle. Born December 26, 1881 in Oxford Massachusetts, he was 83. He leaves three daughters Mrs E S Rivenburg Mrs Ed Humes of Moorcroft and Mrs Rex Sehnitger of Cheyenne and one son Harold of Moorcroft.
