Oak Creek Basin resident Mies Kelley returned home to Spearfish. Luller and Oak Creek schools closed Friday the 9th. Lee Burkhart traveled to Spearfish last Tuesday to attend part of the commencement and witness his sister's graduation. Effe Anderson suffered a severe measles attack but is slowly improving. Sunday School formed that Sunday in the lower Nilson Schoolhouse, Rev. Tracy to lead forenoon services each Sunday.

First dance held in Oddfellows hall last Saturday evening, billed as big rain celebration. Abe Brown and family returned from Oklahoma. Leon Heifner and wife returned to Iowa. Leon resumes train work. Mrs Albert Roberts and baby went to Willette to join Mr Roberts. Ed Blakeman’s dance Saturday night drew Marion Sisson and Gust Kreist hauling logs to sawmill. Mr Birmingham expects to move into his Aurand house. Jones, Aurand, and Stevens made a Sundance trip at week’s start.
