Mrs. Mason and children leave for Merced California next week while Mr. Mason stays to manage farm interests. Farm assets including the Aladdin rental and slashed personal property are set for three years. A new Belle post office will open seven miles from Alva, and several residents attend church and visit in town.
Mr Burt Robins arrived Friday with horses bought in Hullet and shipped via the B and M to Nebraska at Spearfish. Olga Johnson of Terry SD visits Aladdin for several weeks. Dance at Eothen schoolhouse Friday night was well attended and a dance at Aladdin schoolhouse next Saturday is planned. Smith Folsom adds hay equipment. Bush brothers to ship cattle next Saturday. Miss Enoch visits from Belle Fourche. Walter Marchant expected home from sheep season. Ehillips saw mill begins on Tracy ranch. Carrolls visit town and plan a trip to Devil's Tower. Sutton family returns from Princetown Illinois, pleased with the country and plan to return next summer. A heavy rain and hail damaged gardens but not grain. H Guthrie brother visiting from Colorado. Bear Lodge country favored for visiting. Emil Fort and Mr Herchey work on roads despite heavy rain. Guthrie the sheepman tends a large band near the Peaks. Maud Coffey visiting Nels Davis. Frank Ross had a cattle driving accident with a rope incident resulting in a brief unconscious period. no serious injuries. O D Banders of Belle Fourche offers good suits.
