Crook County Farm Bureau Holds Annual Meeting at Sundance
The Crook county Farm Bureau met at Sundance on June 25 with over fifty members. Roy Cameron was elected president, Ed Port as vice president, Harper re elected secretary treasurer, and new directors Joe Farrell and T. Vore. A cheese making demonstration by Mrs Harper preceded a free theater show, and delegates urged local clubs to send reports to the secretary. Grasshoppers threaten crops as steps are taken to combat them.

Spearfish trout supper bonds students and town
A unique event at Spearfish 5 Wak tied the summer term at the State Normal School to a trout supper. Dr McGrey and local fishermen mobilized the community to cook a feast for the entire student body in the city park. The Spearfish band provided music as dormitory staff and the Commercial Club organized a highly successful community effort.
