Death of A B Merrick in Lead after illness

A B Merrick died Friday at his Lead home after pneumonia following a W H Butler contract west of Fairburn. Funeral services were held Monday at 3 pm in Lead Masonic Temple with interment in West Lead Odd Fellows cemetery. Born in Chester Michigan 53 years ago, he operated a Sundance Wyoming saw mill and worked in Lead lumber interests before moving here four years ago. He was a Mason, Odd Fellow, and Woodman of the World member.
