Hale Community Association Plans Meeting and Road Levy
The Hale Community Association will meet at the I O O F building upper hall. Secretary J W Webster will attend Sundance to briefing Public Service Commission about the telephone situation and gather sentiment on a special election for a two mill road levy. The levy would raise about twenty thousand dollars for county roads. The association also approved reappointments for Receiver C L Yeoman and Register C H Massie of the United States land office ahead of a potential move from Sundance to Newcastle on March 1.

Big Decrease in Live Stock in Wyoming From Drought
Estimates by Cook of Douglas, agent for USDA crop estimates, show drought last year caused a large drop in Wyoming livestock. A 40 year worst range condition reduced cattle and sheep herds as stockmen sold or shipped for winter feeding to avoid high-priced hay and grain.
