Attempted assassination targets Hulett officials in Wyoming
In Hulett Wyoming on a February night a would be sniper fired from a 22 high power rifle at M. F. Leslie sheriff of Crook County and Tom Caverly editor of the Wyoming Blade as they sat in a bank. The shot narrowly missed. Both men are prominent Democrats who previously fought bootleggers and gamblers. A $500 reward is offered for the arrest and conviction of the culprit.
