New Haven Weather and Stock Loss Report
In New Haven the February storm caused heavy stock losses with many outfits reporting perishings. Roy Hemenway visited Lightning Flats to check horses while J W Randall moved stock to Geo Jones for feed and J A Baker hauled hay and grain to support wintering stockmen. Roads remain nearly impassable and snow depths reach two to four feet with creeks frozen. The Parks sheep outfit has suffered significant losses with no relief in sight.
