Oak Creek Basin Gossip and Small Town Movements

Ruth Anderson visited Oak Creek Basin at Fairview last Saturday. Otto Wills returned from Lusk and works for Mr. Kimball. A P. Anderson delivers wood for Basin school. Lower Nilson school started Monday. Miss Louise Liston came out Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Barlean enjoyed a snow sleighride last week. Harvey and Emmett Redding moved a purchased house piece by piece on wagons. Bart Derrickson’s baby Margaret fell ill but is recovering. Phillis Anderson of Farrall stayed with Hilma Carlson and will soon head to Carlile for a 4 summer school.

W omen plan a town cleaning day with Boy Scouts to improve the town’s appearance. Meetings to discuss welfare and clean up efforts will be held at Rev. Wood’s home with all ladies urged to attend. Future meetings set for the first and third Thursdays each month.
