Law and Regulations on Homestead Additions and Proof
The act allows a homestead entryman to add public lands contiguous to the original entry up to 320 acres subject to five year age before proof on the addition. Proof may be made after five years showing cultivation of one eighth of the added area from year two and one quarter from year three, with residence counted on either entry and prior residence on the original entry not credited to the addition.
