Local Soldier Honored With Party After Discharge
A farewell party for Private Renel Cheshier was held at Mr Graves's last Saturday with music dancing and supper. Cheshier is furloughing home from Ft. Des Moines hospital where he recovers from a wounded arm after serving ten months in France and being wounded at Soissons on July 18, 1918. Rural Club leaders Dupertius and the County Agent plan meetings in Moorcroft Hulett Sundance and other towns April 1 through 5 to discuss club work and solicit carload shipments of hogs and other farm products from local farmers.
