Business Men Meet and Banquet at Ackley Hotel
A Tuesday afternoon gathering of Hardin County business men, despite severe weather, held a lengthy meeting at Hotel Ackley followed by a banquet. Secretary changes, committee appointments, and discussions on credit rating, license enforcement, and a state pine food law were noted with remarks by local leaders. The next session was slated for Alden, with officers from Radcliffe and Abbott newly elected. Leach's Harp Orchestra provided the entertainment as speeches emphasized county organization and mutual support.
