Hunt Garden Club Christmas luncheon at Riverhill Club
The Hunt Garden Club held its annual Christmas luncheon on December 2 at the Riverhill Club with 30 members and seven ghosts present. The event featured yuletide decor, a gifts exchange, a two course luncheon, and plans to distribute candy baskets to Kerrville State Hospital. Hostesses were Mrs. C L Secor, Mrs. J F Hinrichs, Mrs. John Fair, and Mrs. C W Bocock.

AAUW Study Group Is Announced In Harper News
The Economic Facts of Life Study Group of the AAUW will meet Thursday January 6 at 9 30 am in Miss Elma Hennies home 624 Galbraith. The AAUW Executive Board will meet January 6 at 7 30 pm at Mrs Shirley Wells home 500 Goat Creek Cutoff Road to discuss plans for the new year. Also noted are family visits and an engagement in Harper with Karel Juanice Beard and Boyce Lynn Grona slated to be married February 19 at First Baptist Church in Harper. George F Broyles to receive a BA from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin at graduation ceremonies alongside 125 other graduates.
