State highway commission reports new pavement on No 37 from Fortville to the junction with Nos 11 and 37 near Indianapolis. One short detour surrounds bridge work at Ingalls with shoulder work planned further north. In Anderson Indiana on Thursday Olan Ford a 40 year old farmer was found guilty of arson for setting fire to his home to collect 2125 in insurance and received a one to three year sentence at Indiana State Prison. In Lebanon an all day regional Red Cross conference drew over 100 attendees with James L. Fieses of Washington D C as principal speaker.
