Lake Shore Train Hits Automobile Near Fort Wayne
A Lake Shore passenger train struck a car six miles north of Fort Wayne, killing three and injuring one. The victims were John R. Rowley, 65, Georgelana Rowley, 24, Eliza Carroll, 75, and Herschel Rowley, 20, died or fatally hurt while returning from church services for a Christening at local churches.
