The eighty foot steamer Wisconsin sank thirteen miles off the Wisconsin coast after a storm as coast guardsmen rescued sixty six and found eight dead. Captain Hugo Morrison perished with the vessel. the Illinois, sister ship, was en route to aid. Survivors were treated in Kenosha and Milwaukee hospitals. total aboard listed as sixty to seventy three by crew and Goodrich lines.
