Special Judge Oren S Hack will hold a Thursday hearing in Superior Court Four on a change of venue petition filed by the State board of health in an injunction suit led by Dr William F King board secretary. King has secured a temporary restraining order blocking board action.
Paine Picca of 532 W. Maryland Street was sent to Indiana State Farm for 60 days after being convicted by Criminal Judge James A. Collins on transporting liquor. He received a $100 fine plus costs. Ernest McCormick of 619 N. Alabama Street was fined $10 plus costs.
William T. Baumgard and Miss Royal were driving north of Traders Point Indiana when a trio of bandits blocked the road in a car. Two men jumped out and held revolvers. one fired when Baumgard hesitated to raise his hands. Baumgard was wounded in the leg and treated at a hospital after the attack.
