Tragic Toll in City Traffic Fatalities and Injuries
A 6 year old boy was fatally struck by a car as he chased a ball near Blogg Avenue. Another 6 year old was critically injured, along with a 14 year old and a 9 year old, in separate incidents. A 20 year old youth suffered a skull fracture and a 6 year old another boy was badly hurt. Police charged the driver of the car that struck the first boy. A second crash injured a motorcycle rider and a man in a stolen car was killed in a separate collision.
