Vanishing of Hendricks County Leader Sparks Alarm
Danville Indiana May 11 citizens and Hendricks county residents are alarmed by the disappearance of David Higgins 72 a longtime resident stockman and Democratic leader. Higgins last appeared at the Indianapolis stock yards where he cashed an 85 dollar check for a stock shipment and spoke with commission men about a truck driver inviting him to inspect steers. He was seen leaving with the driver and has not been heard from since. Higgins family are pioneer landowners in the county.
