Three drug crazed patients at Dr. I. H. Hollinger's sanitarium near Newburg in Warrick county barricaded the building for two hours. Sheriff Ward and deputies captured them. no weapons were found and the group was described as tractable after arrest. Twelve other patients fled during the incident.
William Hill age 25 of 3522 Prospect street and Harold Lester age 26 of 1129 Finley street were bound over to the county grand jury on a murder charge for the fatal shooting of Charles Zeller age 46 of 320 Southern avenue, a lottery operator, on March 12. They are also charged with conspiracy to commit a felony under bonds of 25000 each. Hill has confessed shooting Zeller.
In Haddam Connecticut, 60-year-old Lillie Wilson, kept in a primitive farmhouse by her recluse father, for six decades glimpsed modern life only after his death. She entered a streetcar to view a city building and found her father dead, heiress to about 50 000 dollars with an uncertain future.

H Jay Root 3060 North Meridian Street Indianapolis furniture executive and president of the Ideal Furniture Company died today in South Bend. He built a local furniture business here for years after previously running a factory in Shelbyville. Survived by his wife and son Louis.
Mrs. Effie Clutter 40 of 1112 West Morris Street died at City Hospital after taking poison Wednesday night. Police found a note directing burial instructions to Boonville funeral director "in case of sickness or death."
