Dying Vacuum Tube Causes Audio Distortion and Loss
A failing vacuum tube becomes noisy and distorts music as it loses the ability to detect and amplify signals. It gradually reduces volume and the reception of distant stations until a rapid volume drop occurs.
Diaphragm Adjustment Techniques for Headphone Precision
The air gap between the diaphragm and pole-piece tips must be equal on each side to achieve maximum volume without distortion. Consistent spacing ensures accurate balance and improved acoustic performance.
