ORTLAND Ore March 13 A 29 year old mill hand Adrian Granby died after his heart beat thirty nine hours after he ceased breathing He had suffered a brain tumor and was unconscious and unable to breathe since Tuesday but his heart action continued normally until his death late Wednesday.
In Chicago on March 13 1900s style report Mrs Anna Kiss sues Frank Kiss for divorce claiming he beat her ending their marriage.
Howard Frick, a University of Illinois student, claims he blew so hard at a high note on a trumpet that one tonsil came out. Doctors found it possible but unlikely and Frick says he doesn’t care if others believe him.

New York March 13 The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court ruled that Magistrate Albert Vitale engaged in official misconduct in a case raised by the New York Bar Association and is unfit to continue on the bench. The decision followed more than an hour of deliberation after final arguments by both sides.
W. G. Melchow, longtime cashier of Farmers State Bank in Wilder, Minnesota, was arrested today on charges of embezzling $24,000 from the bank after a twenty eight year tenure.
