Radio evangelist aims to calm Herrin coal belt turmoil
Howard S. Williams, a former newspaper man now a radio evangelist, plans to bring relief to Herrin Illinois with a series of revival meetings starting April 26 using a portable broadcasting station. He will broadcast nightly from a tent at 7:15 with call letters WCBG and the slogan Will Christ Be Glorified.
