State collected 10749319 from Mar 1 1927 to Mar 1 1928. refunds and expenses totaled 403195 leaving 10346124 to be distributed among the highway commission counties cities and towns. The highway commission gets 6897488. Counties and cities share the rest. counties receive half and cities half, distribution by population for cities and road mileage for counties. Ravenswood, Marion County, is the smallest town with 242 in its share.
