Electric chair claims three in synchronized executions
In Washington on June 22 three inmates were executed in new electric chairs for the murder of Policeman Leo W. Busch during a robbery attempt. Nicholas Lee Eagles 32 protested innocence before death at 10 15. Samuel Moreno 20 kissed a cross and died at 10 24. John Proctor 19, unconscious, died at 10 35 after the chair was activated.
