Kansas City Blues tie series with Indians in twin bill

The Kansas City Blues swept both games of a double header against the Indians, 6 to 3 and 6 to 2, moving to within one win of overtaking the Tribe in the AA standings. Schemanske Mann pitched the opener while Fitzsimmons and Thompson worked in relief for Kansas City. The Indians mustered only five and seven hits in the two games, and Kestr of the pitching did not prevent the Blues from mounting a comeback in the third inning of the first game. A single game is set for today followed by a double header Thursday and a single game Friday.
