Two Franklin Men Drowned in Sugar Creek Boat Accident
Two Franklin business men Clark Prather a 42 year old druggist and Amador Wyrick a 50 year old dry goods merchant drowned when their rowboat capsized at a four foot dam on Sugar creek six miles south of Franklin Indiana. Three others Floyd Owens Ray Sellers and Arthur McDaniels escaped but suffered exposure. Prather's body was recovered 200 yards below the dam as Indianapolis police assisted with grappling hooks and drag.
