Confesses Killing Hall Mills Case In Oklahoma Affidavit
Elwin F. Allen, a former Oklahoma prisoner, confessed to the Hall Mills murders near Brunswick New Jersey on September 14 1922. Authorities doubt details but say he was held on a murder charge in El Reno after wandering the U S and Mexico and serving time at McAlister penitentiary. He says he killed the minister and Mrs Mills for $5 000 and a car.

Reily Adams banker dies at 50 in Indianapolis
Reily C. Adams 50 president of the Security Trust Company died at St Vincent's Hospital at 7 15 this morning of pneumonia. He had led the bank for ten years and was long active in Republican politics as treasurer of the state committee. Born 1878 in Vincennes he held numerous civic roles including director of the Indianapolis Athletic Club and member of several clubs. He is survived by his wife and three children. Memorial service planned at the Indianapolis Clearing House this afternoon.
