Plaza Oil to Open Large Gas Station in City
The Plaza Oil Company plans a new service station at 122 E Maryland St with capacity for thirty cars, fourteen pumps, and crank case service. President N F E Carter says it will be the largest of its kind, opening in about three weeks. The Indianapolis firm also extends a fourteen-pump station at Times Square near Senate Ave and Maryland St by the Red Ball bus station.

Hearst Propaganda Faces Wave Length Shortage Risk
Promoters of the Hearst scheme to build a nationwide chain of broadcasting stations were warned by the Department of Commerce that they may fail to obtain wave lengths. At present all class B lengths are assigned with a long waiting list. War pensions for Britain amount to about 200 million dollars annually less than in 1920 due to remarriages of war widows.
