The program moved the big Thursday events to Wednesday to avoid apparent political bias. Fundraising reaches $10,000 with expected final cost around $20,000 as plans continue. James Ealam from Chicago may light Miss Indiana’s hand if decided. District Telegraph has no contract to place a light, and Kalam will proceed if he wishes.
