Fred May, 36, a Panhandle engineer of 2 Walcott Street, was killed when a work train overturned after striking a cow six miles west of Bradford Junction on Monday night. Two Boys Hurt as Cars Collide on Thirteenth Street
At about 2 p m Tuesday a Columbia avenue street car 724 collided with Brightwood car 709 at Thirteenth Street and Columbia. W G Howard 1811 Arrow Avenue and a son of Charles Keasing 1248 Malott Avenue rode the running board. Howard suffered a broken leg and a leg of the licensing bay was crushed, possibly needing amputation. The Columbia car left the track and struck the other car.
