Edward Donahue alias William Edwards alias Allan Edward Harrington, wanted for murder in Chicago, was arrested Thursday afternoon in Indianapolis by Detectives Simon Hauser and Kennedy and Chicago officer Joseph Kennedy. After a long chase spanning Ireland and Cedar Rapids, the escapee was tracked to a drug store robbery scene and identified by Detective Kennedy. Donahue, who faced accomplices Quinn and Liston, fled from Omaha to Ireland then Cedar Rapids before reaching Indianapolis. He now faces transfer to Chicago, where the victim Seibert’s death shocked the city shortly before his planned marriage.
