Unknown man found near Akins Sai Works identified as John Gray
The unidentified man found semi conscious behind the Akins Sai Works Thursday night died after arrival at City dispensary hospital. Deputy Coroner Robertson says the deceased is John Gray, whose family lives at 1838 North Illinois Street. Gray had not lived at home long and is said to have led a roaming life in Chicago. A name on a chin strap led to the identification. small powders found in his pockets will be analyzed. Meanwhile a mystery surrounds his death. authorities suspect self harm.
