Death of Deitch Company Head in Doorway Incident
The 63 year old head of the Deitch clothing company at 165 W Washington St died after collapsing in his doorway shortly after 1 am Wednesday. He had heart trouble and asthma. Witness J Gumblesky found him unconscious and he was pronounced dead by Coroner Beck. Funeral arrangements will be announced. The store will close for 20 hours after the funeral.
